At the top of the template list is EKHO, a full screen Joomla template created by Envato regular, Hogash. The Joomla template features a huge number of sliders, a shortcodes system and some premium EKHO modules.

The winning extension comes from gnomeontherun, and is a Frontend Administrator Menu that allows admins to "easily access the Joomla Administrator pages directly from the frontend with Adminbar." Using this extension reportedly negates the need to have multiple browser windows or tabs open when working on a Joomla website.
