Resolved Assistance with update notices

Anyone know how to add the ability for viewers to sign-up to receive an email notice when a website home page is updated? Don't want to create a multitude of users, or a mailing list per say, just want folks to be notified when the home page is changed so they can keep up with important changes.

RSS is designed to do exactly that, but it's a feature that never really went mainstream. If your page has an RSS feed and you can educate your users how to setup a feed reader then this is by far the best approach.

Short of that you're going to have to find a service. I've not tried this, but Google found this for me:
