Really I don t know how to use this forum but my question is why in my editor TinyMC I don´t have all the icons to customize my articles.( Fonts, colors, etc). Is it neccesary to download another version?
When I bought this tutorial I was thimking in Joomla 2.5 but in some lessons you refer to joomla 1.7 and it has a lot of differences

Thanks a lot

I just started using JCK and I love the drag and drop image feature, this eliminates the upload of files.
It has a Forms option but it's not really complete. You can create the form but then you have to write code to do anything with it. Hopefully they will expand that portion later.

German - it's true a lot of us prefer JCE. However, to add the extra icons to TinyMCE go to Extensions > Plugin Manager > Editor - TinyMCE. Once there on the right hand side under Basic Options change the first drop down box to 'Extended' - see attached image.

Hi German,
What you say about the tutorials is true. Most of us Newbies seem to have the same problem, and it does seem as if Richard tries to keep up with the changes.
Just be patient and work through what you have, and you will pick up what is required. Eventually you will become more familiar with the environment and you will feel a little bit more comfortable.:)

Hi German,

Try downloading and installing new article editor like JCE or JCK Editor. Both have many more options than the built-in TinyMCE editor that comes with Joomla installations.
