456,000 results for "Welcome to the Frontpage"

I have had a few emails from people asking how to change the title tag on the home page. By default this reads "Welcome to the Frontpage". Out of interest, I searched Google for this phrase and got 456,000 results! Most of these are sites that haven't changed this default setting so let's have a look at how it's done. There is a video tutorial at the end of this article.

  1. Login to Administrator and go to "Menus" - "Main menu"
  2. In the right column, click on the "Parameters - (System)" heading. This will expand this section.
  3. Change the text next to "Page Title" to something more appropriate
  4. Click the "Save" button towards the top right corner

Update: there are now over 1.5 million results for this phrase in Google!
