Have you got the Joomla Beat?

Have you got the Joomla Beat?

Joomla Beat is the latest way for you to get your serving of Joomla news, views, reviews and interviews. It's a podcast produced by Sydney web developer Peter Bui of PB Web Development. In the same way as the web allows anyone to become an instant publisher, podcasts are the medium where anyone can share their knowledge via their golden tonsils. And just as there are good and bad websites, there are good and bad - or often atrocious - podcasts.

Fortunately Peter has done a terrific job with Joomla Beat and I highly recommend you subscribe today. I know better than most how challenging it is to produce high quality content on a regular basis. In fact I had my own ambitions for a Joomla podcast last year and even got to the stage of producing our initial episode. But it all then fell into the too hard basket and I vowed to resurrect it "one day". Well it's going to stay in that basket because Peter's content and production is much slicker than I could have ever achieved and I'm hopeful that his Joomla Beat podcast will continue well into the future.

To put your ideas into action is the most difficult thing in the world.
— Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

I've promised Peter that I'll occasionally join him to share some Joomla tips and tricks. In the meantime, have a listen to last week's episode where I share some of my experience as a web developer.

Next time you're walking the dog, whack your headphones on and get the Joomla Beat!

Interesting interview. I first learnt how to use Joomla via Richards free tutorials and listening to his own self-taught way of teaching himself how to use the software and then going forward to share his knowledge with others was enlightening. Thanks for sharing.

It's not an extension. It's an Iframe containing the necessary embed code from a third party website (http://www.libsyn.com/).
