User Registration Form

0
:( Hi, I need some help, please.
When I register as a new user and click on 'Create an Account', I am diverted to a sheet where I need to input the necessary information. When I click on 'Forgot your Password?' or 'Forgot your Username?' I am also sent to different pages.
I would like to have control over the way that these pages are presented, i.e. these pages are presented to me showing information in other positions of the template, which I do not want here. I will maybe want to put other general information here. How do I access these pages. :(
Using a template designed using Artisteer - what a fantastic tool! :)
Thank you.

    Hi JP,

The way to go about changing the output (including the layout) of Joomla pages is by creating what is known as Template Overrides. You can read about it in the Joomla Documentation site here. The template files you want to edit are in the com_user directory.

Richard is currently working on a new lesson in the Templates topic in the Joomla Pro course which will touch on the concept of Template Overrides. He'll certainly do a much better job explaining it, so watch out for that lesson, coming very soon ;)
