Hi.
I didn't realize we have a support section!
I'm not sure why , but if i publish an article to the front page, I can't seem to get an existing article to stay on top.I try to prioritize using the arrows in the front page manager, but the changes don't seem to take effect?
I wonder if anyone might ahve an idea?
Thanks
PS Here http://www.613montreal.com/ is my site .There are two articles up.

    G'day Stuart!

In the Featured Articles, click on Ordering. Ordering will now be active. You should be able to use the arrows. Then click the save icon and you'll see the system will change the numbers. You can also change the order by changing the numbers.

If you're still having trouble, check that you haven't overridden the defaults somewhere else and told it to order by creation date or some such.

Please let's know how you go with it.

Whatever you are doing, it must be the same as I used to do that caused me much frustration. Not sure how I fixed it but it has come right now. I think it was the override issue mentioned above.

    Thanks. I appreciate.
But I am still at a loss.
I'm not in the blog , just in the regular article manager. I don't see where the
    "Featured' feature is?
I tried to unpublish and then republish , to check the possibility of the date being the problem.
I know it must have been covered in the course, but where would I find a a parameter section which would be responsible?
    thanks for trying.

    OK!

Are you making your front page articles Featured Articles?

When I start a new site I always create a category called Front Page and put my front page articles in there as well as giving them Featured Article status.

I've tried to post some screenshots but the forum is playing up and won't publish them.

Where do you create 'Featured' Status?
I don't see that parameter anywhere?
I just use the radio button which defines if the article will eb shown on the front page.
