The new version of K2 released this past weekend has several key features; however, as developers point out, "full compatibility with Joomla! 3.0 is certainly highlight no.1."

Because of the changes making the new compatibility possible, the layout is now responsive as well; lists are drag and drop, and the component's parameters are now combined in a new view in the back end.

The jQuery Javascript library is also a key addition to version 2.6.0. Improved language support and RSS feed improvements are also included with this new version.
