Joomlage's newest prefab template is a versatile, elegant design that makes great use of white space. The easy to navigate template allows for quick browsing to a variety of relevant on-site locations without removing an easy to browse front page for news and blog posts. Like most major Joomla releases in recent months, Impressions is built around Responsive design protocol. All of the white space and easy to click images are rearranged on mobile devices like smart phones and tablets to make for an easier viewing experience automatically.

Anyone using the Komento Joomla extension should mosey over to StackIdeas official site and download a brand new hotfix to plug a few holes in Komento's code. Although rare, it seems that a serious bug has been discovered which can cause a site to crash if it is not fixed. Komento users can download the patch here. StackIdeas also offers the relevant source code for users to FTP onto their site if they're not interested in running a software patch. From start to finish, the patching process should take less than five minutes, so there's no reason to delay!
- ACL (Access Control List):
- Joomla's ACL offers a way of securing content and "controlling access" to certain objects and functions within a website. There are two aspects to the ACL in Joomla, who can view things and who can do things in regards to content and various actions available to users.
Joomla's Access Control List determines things like who can see certain articles and other media published on a website as well as who can add and edit content and media. It also determines who can access the Administrator and what they can see and do while they are logged in.
